Coach McGannon played professional golf from 1991 to 1995 based in this lovely 3 bedroom condo in the golf capital of the USA, Pinehurst, North Carolina.  He attempted the PGA Tour Q-School twice, played in 43 professional events on the mini-tours, was a local qualifier for the 1995 United States Open and served as caddie master at famed Pinehurst #2.  As an amateur, Coach McGannon qualified for the North/South Amateur, played in the Connecticut Amateur 4 times and also the Michigan Amateur 3 times, twice as local medalist.  He currently serves as varsity boys coach at Fruitport High School.

His experience as caddie master was highlighted in a 1994 Sports Illustrated article by Rick Reilly. 

Coach still gets out and plays a bit, winning the Muskegon County Senior in 2009.  Lessons are a possibility in the spring and fall, here's the link.
