Quick, agile, competitive player.  Great balance, excellent acceleration in the open court.  Anticipates very well defensively, strips a lot of balls.   Will help and recover on the post as a habit.  Excellent open court shooter, terrific rotation on his shot.  Will knock it in.  Good ball handler, can handle presure on the ball, sees the court.  Working on his runner and step back.  Very good springs.  Jalen is an EXCELLENT student; 3.82 GPA.  Student of the Month twice, team captain, several leadership positions, nominated for and attended National Young Leaders Conference in Washinton, D.C., working in high school at a local small business.   This is a solid kid and a solid player who will only improve over the next 2 years.  ALL AREA JUNIOR YEAR.
