5'10" Lightning quick but unlike many fast players, has terrific defensive footwork. Does not rely on speed alone. Really tough on post players, helps and recovers beautifully on the big men. A steal machine.
Needs to pick and choose, take fewer chances defensively. Great springs. Can be an up tempo player but has good court vision, recognition skills. Left handed, soft jumper, good range. 3 straight state titles at WMC, London has been a key player. Fearless, will attack the hoop. Must be as effective with right hand as left. All State 3 consecutive years.
A fantastic interior passer. Beats his man off the dribble with regularity and then delivers the ball to the big man as required. Big guys better get ready, the ball is coming. London is really good at breaking down defenses. Can destroy a tight zone with this skill.
Made 2 key 3 pointers in state championship game March 27, 2010. Opponent pulled within 4 points with 5 minutes to go, London did not hesiate and knocked these shots down. Finished with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. WMC went on to win 3rd consecutive state title, with London being named All State again for the 3rd straight year. Video Link to this game here.
London has volunteered and done a lot of work with Basketball Basics. He is always on time, works hard and does not have to be told twice what to do. He is terrific with these young players, patient and encouraging.
