Please meet our soccer coach, Dan Hazekamp.  Dan is a terrific young coach and was a high level player in high school and college. I worked with Dan on the basketball court, where he was also an outstanding player.  Most importantly, I know Dan to be a patient, encouraging and kid-focused coach.  Your sons and daughters will greatly benefit from working with Coach Hazekamp.

Soccer Basics Skills Clinics

Soccer Field in Fruitport

We are excited to announce that Soccer Basics will have its own private field, located in Fruitport.  Photos and directions will be available shortly.  A perfect setting for skill development and competitive growth with Coach Hazekamp.

These instructional clinics will teach young players the proper fundamentals.  The sessions are fun, organized and will really help the kids learn the game correctly.  Coach Dan Hazekamp was an All Area and All State soccer player and is a patient, encouraging, capable and fundamentally sound coach.

Players will be taught how to dribble, pass, control the ball, use both feet effectively and see the field.  WE WILL NOT PLAY A GAME or SCRIMMAGE but there will be competitive drills each day.
